Step 1 — Gear

Everything you need is under $100.

  • gear

That's it. No pole, no ladder, no truck. Ground-floor windows pay for all of this on day one.

Step 2 — Your First Day

Step 3 — Watch the Pitch

Watch Blake run the pitch at a real door.

This is the exact pitch. Watch it once before you read the script.

Step 4 — The Script

Here's the script. Word for word.

Knock, then take a step back so you're not crowding the door. When they answer:

"Hey, how's it going? I see you've got the very ferocious guard dog right there. Anyway — do you know your neighbor Susan? She's about five houses down, we're going to be helping her out. We've done like nine others in the neighborhood the past two days. What we're doing for everyone is cleaning all the windows for the whole house — the glass, the frames, and the sills. Since we're already over at Susan's, it's easy to swing our equipment over and do yours pretty cheap. What I'll do is go around, count your windows, and give you a quick price, just so you know."

Then on the walk-around:

"You guys have a lot of windows. *explain how to clean windows* Cut to the chase — if you called us out it'd be $349 for everything. But since we're already at Susan's and a few others, we're taking $100 off. So we'll do every piece of glass around the whole house for just $249."

— Say "you have a lot of windows" before the price so the quote feels like a deal.
— Then use the word "just" — "it's just $249" — and shrug. Then shut up. First person to talk after the price loses.

Now the truth.

The script is maybe 10% of sales.

Anyone can read those words at a door and still walk away with nothing.

Tone. Timing. Reading the person in front of you. Handling the “no” that isn’t really a no. Knowing which street to even be on.

That’s the other 90%. And it doesn’t fit on a webpage.

It’s learned by watching real pitches, asking real questions, and being around people who are doing it every day.

That’s what the free community is for.
